How do we book you?
The first step is to meet up. This gives you the opportunity to have a look through some photos and albums and ask any questions you may have and generally have a chat about your wedding. It’s massively important that you feel comfortable with your photographer. If you would then like to go ahead and book, I require a deposit of £250.00 to secure the date.
How far will you travel to shoot a wedding?
I will travel pretty much anywhere. I’m based in Lancashire but cover all of the UK and would love for you to invite me somewhere far away, although additional costs may apply.
Do we have a meeting prior to the wedding?
We will have a final details meeting approximately four weeks prior, but if you would like to meet up at any other time then no problem, just let me know!
When is the final balance due?
Two weeks prior to your wedding day.
We don’t really need the full day coverage.
I feel I can tell the story of your wedding day far better by covering the full day, so I would not recommend any less. Though, if you would prefer me not to cover all parts of the day, then no problem just get in touch and we’ll sort something out.
Who has copyright of the images?
Dan Wootton Photography retains copyright of all images, however, you do have permission to print any of the images on your USB.
Do we have input in the album design?
Your album will not go to print until you are completely happy with the design and you are free to make as many suggestions for changes as you like.
Do you take family group photos?
Of course, but I get these done quick and painless for you so you get back to what you should be doing and that’s drinking and having fun.
What if I don’t like having my photo taken?
There’s not many people that do to be honest. That’s why my only rule for the day is ‘don’t look for the camera’. I work discreetly throughout the day capturing you and your guests being yourselves. I wont ever tell you to smile or kiss. I’ll just be waiting for that natural smile to emerge or the belly laugh to break out. If you are nervous I would recommend doing a pre-wedding shoot before the big day. This helps put you at ease.
