A Magical Day at Browsholme Hall: Capturing Love & Laughter in Lancashire!

Every wedding has it’s own story, filled with interesting characters and unfolding throughout the day in front of my cameras. That’s exactly how it felt photographing Adam & Abi’s wedding at Browsholme Hall – a venue steeped in history, elegance, and timeless romance, nestled in the heart of the Ribble Valley.

Every time I arrive at this incredible venue, I am struck by the beauty of the grounds. Browsholme Hall’s historic stonework, manicured gardens, and the stunning Tithe Barn offer a perfect mix of grandeur and intimacy. It’s a dream setting for any wedding photographer.

The day began with the groom getting ready in the nearby village of Waddington. From there I headed to Browsholme to meet up with Abi where she was full of smiles preparing for the day ahead. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and nervous laughter – a photographer’s paradise of candid emotion and quiet moments.

The ceremony took place in the stunning Tithe Barn before the newlyweds headed outside for some epic confetti throwing that lead seamlessly into their drinks reception.

Following their drinks reception, we took advantage of the incredible grounds for the first part of their portraits. The Hall itself provided a majestic backdrop, while the surrounding gardens gave us softer, more intimate settings. The newlyweds were fantastic to work with – relaxed, in love, and totally present in the moment.

After the wedding breakfast and as the sun dipped, we wandered the grounds again playing with light and capturing timeless portraits.

Photographing this wedding was more than just documenting a beautiful day – it was about capturing a connection between two people, their loved ones, and a place that brought it all together. Browsholme Hall is one of the best venues in the North West and without a doubt one of my favourite places to shoot.
