Dan & Jen’s Spring Wedding at Wyresdale Park, Lancashire

There’s something truly special about a spring wedding in the Lancashire countryside, and Dan & Jen’s celebration at Wyresdale Park was the perfect example of just how magical the start of the wedding season can be.

Set against rolling hills, historic architecture, and the first signs of new life bursting into bloom, Wyresdale Park provided an unforgettable backdrop for a day filled with love, laughter, and heartfelt moments. From the moment guests arrived, there was a sense of calm excitement in the air!

After the ceremony, guests spilled out into the grounds to enjoy the spring weather. Wyresdale Park truly comes into its own during this time of year, with open spaces ideal for mingling, laughter, and celebratory drinks. Conversations flowed easily as friends and family explored the grounds, took in the views, and celebrated with the newlyweds. Guests were kept completely entertained throughout the day by the brilliant Alex Birtwell.

Wyresdale Park is so good for creative portraits and I always have so much fun creating images of my couples around the expansive grounds. From the textured walls, scenic views and calmness of the lake there are so many opportunities around Wyresdale for cool and creative portraits.

As the evening drew on, the celebrations showed no sign of slowing down. Music and laughter filled the room, the dance floor stayed busy, and the joy of the day carried late into the night. Wyresdale Park, glowing softly as the light faded, provided a truly magical setting to end an unforgettable day.
