Lodore Falls Wedding Photography - Aran & Lisa

This was my first visit to the Lodore Falls Hotel in Keswick for the wedding of Aran and Lisa. It’s a fact that I love the Lake District and I often remind myself how lucky I am to have this incredible part of the world on my doorstep.

Aran and Lisa are simply wonderful people who are so obviously in love. I had such a brilliant day with them and their friends and family a few weeks ago. I love when my bride and grooms are up for stepping out of their comfort zones to get ‘a shot’. These two were no let up to that and they just threw themselves into it all day.

This wedding was so much fun. Massive congrats you two

Ribby Hall Wedding Photography - David & Laura

It’s been way too long since I’ve shot at Ribby Hall Village, so it was an absolute treat to be back there recently for the wedding of David and Laura.

David and Laura booked me quite a while back to be their Ribby Hall Wedding Photographer. After meeting up with them again a few weeks before the wedding it reminded me just how much fun this was going to be.

We spent the whole day on the village with the boys getting ready at the uber cool Villa Nova and the girls in the stunning White House. I had such an incredible day with these guys and their crazy friends and family. Thanks for having me along and for being so much fun!

Ashton Hall Wedding Photography - DJ & Lindsay

Back at the end of July I shot the fantastic wedding of DJ and Lindsay at the gorgeous Ashton Hall in Lancaster. It was my first visit to Ashton Hall and what a stunning venue it is.

My day started out at the equally beautiful Thurnham Hall, just down the road from Ashton Hall, to shoot the bride and groom preparations. From here we headed to my home village of Poulton to the legendary St. Chads Church for the ceremony before heading to Ashton Hall. Once there DJ, Lindsay and their guests enjoyed some insanely good food, plenty of alcohol and some crazy good music from one of my favourite wedding bands The Deadbeats.

Lakeside Hotel Wedding Photography - Lake District - Chris & Caroline

Massive congratulations to Chris and Caroline who were married a few weeks ago at the beautiful Lakeside Hotel in Newby Bridge. It was my first wedding at the Lakeside and what a brilliant wedding it was.

The weather was on our side, which is always a risk up in the Lake District. The sun shone pretty much all day which meant we could head out on a boat for an hour after the wedding breakfast.

Overall this was such a great wedding to be part of. Chris and Caroline are so lovely and so much fun.
