Family Photography in Fleetwood
It was a windy evening in Fleetwood but that didn’t stop the smiles and good times. This family shoot was so much fun! Bought as birthday present for a special Birthday I was tasked with documenting this wonderful bunch of humans.
Documenting families with older or grown-up children can sometimes be a little more awkward than when photographing younger families. My style and approach to photographing families is very much focussed on primarily un-posed and natural moments. This is often easier with younger children as they will just play and not really be as aware of my cameras. However with grown up children they often need a bit of guidance or direction, which I’m happy to give should it be required. This family came prepared though and we hung out on Fleetwood beach and they flew kites, played catch and popped the fizz!
After hanging out for a little on the beach we set off for the Mount, a famous Fleetwood landmark, to finish off the session. This was a wonderful mix of family fun and beautiful portraits and myself and the family were delighted with the results.
